"... Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) is a global political party that has been calling for the establishment of an Islamic state since its organization in 1952. Today, HT operates in over forty-five countries across the world, including many Western states such as the United Kingdom and the United States... my research seeks to distinctively contribute to the literature on HT by exploring the motivations, aspirations, and methods proposed by this group, from the perspective of the party's core literature, in light of its situatededness in its interpretation of modernity's moral deficiency... I aim to excavate the party's literature for inherent consistencies or inconsistencies between thought and proposed action."
